Typically, Social Media creates many opportunities for a nonprofit. However, with this digital age we live in, there is always a possibility for abuse online or threats to an organization. This is why I will now tell you about 5 ways to prevent abuse online before it happens:
- Own all your domains, and some your attackers might buy.
Purchase the dot com, dot org, and dot net domains for the name of your organization.

This will avoid fake accounts.
- Make sure that all images you use in publicity material are also on your website.
